Dvořák’s “New World” on ReVinyl

The 1977 recording of Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World”, with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Herbert von Karajan is now available as a limited edition LP by Warner Classics on recycled ReVinyl in “Red Appeal” colour (24 April 2026).

Widely regarded as one of the landmark recordings of the work, this interpretation captures the symphony’s dramatic sweep and expressive range. Composed during Dvořák’s stay in the United States, the work reflects his engagement with American musical ideas alongside his Central European background.

The release is presented as a 140g LP pressed on 100% recycled PVC. Each disc features a unique marbled red appearance, making every copy visually distinct. The ReVinyl process reflects current developments in more sustainable vinyl production while maintaining audiophile standards.

Originally released in 1977 and remastered in 2014, this edition brings a well-established recording to a new format that combines historical interpretation with contemporary production methods.
